Code of Conduct
A shared commitments to consent, respect, accountability, and community care within BKN spaces.
The Black Kink Network’s Code of Conduct is a living agreement—an intentional commitment to community, consent, and collective liberation. Every member, brand, and organization within BKN is entrusted with upholding the values that make our spaces possible: respect, accountability, discretion, and care. By joining this network, you affirm your dedication to creating and sustaining environments where power, play, and personal growth coexist with integrity and mutual responsibility.
As a member, brand, or organization affiliated with the Black Kink Network (BKN), I commit to the following:
Consent is Paramount
- I will respect the stated boundaries and consent of others at all times.
- I understand that consent is not always enthusiastic. It is layered, a continuous engagement, and therefore can be revoked at any time.
Respect & Accountability
- I will engage respectfully with all members of the network, regardless of personal affiliation, identity, experience, or role.
- I accept responsibility for my actions and words within this community and am open to engaging in conversation and receiving feedback.
Confidentiality & Discretion
- I will protect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow members and their personal lives.
- I will not disclose sensitive information or share media without explicit consent.
- If I am interested in leadership positions and assume any role of official capacity with BKN, I will not disclose BKN intellectual property, proprietary information, or internal processes. I agree to sign a confidential non-disclosure agreement if I am accepted into a leadership position.
Community Care
- I will prioritize the well-being of myself, the collective, and its members.
- I will offer support as I can and uphold a culture of safety, inclusion, and growth.
No Tolerance for Harmful Behavior
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, fatphobia, xenophobia, kink shaming, or any other form of oppressive ideals will not be tolerated.
- Abuse, harassment, exploitation, or predatory behavior are grounds for removal.
- I am open to participating in BKN mediation protocols, if offered.
Liberation & Growth
- I will engage in ongoing education and reflection to deepen my understanding of alternative and liberated lifestyles.
- I will contribute positively to the network by sharing knowledge, resources, or support when possible.
Alignment & Representation
- As an affiliate and/or member of BKN, I understand I represent the values of the collective in both internal and external engagements.
- I will uphold BKN’s mission of liberation, authenticity, and accountability.
I understand that failure to abide by this Code of Conduct may result in review, restriction, or removal from BKN affiliation.
